Joel Plaskett :)

Joel Plaskett, is a 36 year old  Canadian Rock Musician from Nova Scotia. He has formed 3 bands " Thrush Hermit", "Neuseiland", and "Joel Plaskett Emergency". He has also released 3 solo albums. One of my favourite songs would have to be Come On Teacher, by Joel Plaskett Emergency.. Never seems to get old.

Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston was born on August 9, 1963. So she's 43 currently, and I must say she's my favorite "old" person singer. But I don't really have anything else to say about her. I pretty much made this post to share with you one of my all time favorite songs.

Amy Winehouse

So i guess this whole blog during Summer thing isn't working out too well. Cause Mackenzie's lazy and i'm not home. I guess this post isn't gonna be very structured like the others. I just wanted to mention Amy Winehouse. So Amy was like one of my idols practicaly. She started off pretty young and had an amazing career. But sadly due to many causes including drug abuse, she is now dead. Why do artists think that they need to abuse substances like that? So much talent just went to waste. And the sad thing? She's not the only one. These people think they have to do it to make good music, or to relieve stress, or whatever there reason. But why the hell can't they just do the same thing without using drugs? I think it's just very dumb. But that's my rant for you. So go on youtube, or itunes, and look up Amy's music. I'm not giving links today because there's too many great songs.

So MBF ( Michael Bernard Fitzgerald) is pretty much sex. He started not too long ago in 2005, and he's from Calgary. I chose him for today's blog, because he's playing tonight in my city.  Sam again. Cause Mackenzie's lazy. So today's band is The Killers. So these guys are from Las Vegas. They started not too long ago in 2001, and are still together. I'd say they're pretty well known. I can't say much more except i freaking love these guys. So here's some songs to go listen to.

Hey it's Sam! So i'm excited for this band. I grew up listening to them...which is odd cause they're music is a little...interpretive if you know what i mean. So Bloodhound Gang..their an American band from Pennsylvania. Started out in 1992, and are still going strong. Many of you have probably heard a song or two from them growing up.
