Joel Plaskett :)

Joel Plaskett, is a 36 year old  Canadian Rock Musician from Nova Scotia. He has formed 3 bands " Thrush Hermit", "Neuseiland", and "Joel Plaskett Emergency". He has also released 3 solo albums. One of my favourite songs would have to be Come On Teacher, by Joel Plaskett Emergency.. Never seems to get old.

Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston was born on August 9, 1963. So she's 43 currently, and I must say she's my favorite "old" person singer. But I don't really have anything else to say about her. I pretty much made this post to share with you one of my all time favorite songs.

Amy Winehouse

So i guess this whole blog during Summer thing isn't working out too well. Cause Mackenzie's lazy and i'm not home. I guess this post isn't gonna be very structured like the others. I just wanted to mention Amy Winehouse. So Amy was like one of my idols practicaly. She started off pretty young and had an amazing career. But sadly due to many causes including drug abuse, she is now dead. Why do artists think that they need to abuse substances like that? So much talent just went to waste. And the sad thing? She's not the only one. These people think they have to do it to make good music, or to relieve stress, or whatever there reason. But why the hell can't they just do the same thing without using drugs? I think it's just very dumb. But that's my rant for you. So go on youtube, or itunes, and look up Amy's music. I'm not giving links today because there's too many great songs.

So MBF ( Michael Bernard Fitzgerald) is pretty much sex. He started not too long ago in 2005, and he's from Calgary. I chose him for today's blog, because he's playing tonight in my city. Arctic Monkeys

Well, looks like Sam is being a slacker. Today's blog, one of my favorites the Arctic Monkeys.. These boys.. <3 They are an English Indie Rock band formed in 2002. They have currently released 4 albums. The band consists of Alex Turner (lead vocals, lead guitar), Jamie Cook (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Nick O'Malley (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Matt Helders (drums, percussion, backing vocals). One of my favorite songs by them is Flourescent Adolescent. Happy Birthday Les Paul!

Well it just happens to be Les Paul's Birthday today (June 9). His full name was Lester William Polsfuss, and he was born in 1915, and passed away August 12, 2009. He's most famous for the guitars named Les Paul. You've probably seen a Gibson Les Paul. So Lester, even though you're dead...HAPPY BIRTHDAY...from all the music appreciators left in the world.
