Eskimo Joe

Ah Eskimo Joe. How I love them. Their songs are so beautiful and have meaning. They're an Australian alternative rock group. They were formed in 1997, and as far as I know, they're still going at it. But I don't think their recording new songs. So here's some of my favorite's by them even though their all my favorite!

From The Sea (love the video for this one!)

Abandon All Ships

Ah. I love these guys. They're genre is metalcore. And what could possibly make it better? They're Canadian. I am under the belief that we produce pretty amazing artists. The exception...Justin Bieber..or he who shall not be named. But moving onwards with AAS. They were formed in 2006 and are still going strong. Some of you have probably seen them on disBand. Which is where they got really big. So on to the songs. :)

Maria (I like it loud)
Guardian Angel

There's many more, but these two are my favorites. So be sure to check them out!
Wanna see them llive? They're playing in Warped Tour this year.

You Made Music Out Of What!?!

Well isn't this interesting. I stumbled across this on Youtube and just had to post it. It shows you that everything is music and everyone has it in them. No matter if you're tone deaf. Jusdt remember if you are...don't sing. So listen and tell me what you think. Do you agree it's music? Or just a racket? But that's all I have for today, so enjoy!

Plain White T's

Yay! Finally a new band. :)
So the Plain White T's. Well they're from Illinois and they formed in 1997. So pretty much about a year after i was born. They're genre of music is pop rock. I'd consider these guys to be pretty successful seeing as they're going on 15 years of being around. I'm sure most of you have  heard one of their songs at some point in your life. And if you haven't, check them out in the links below.

Hey There Delilah

"I've got so much left to say
If every simple song I wrote to you
Would take your breath away
I'd write it all"

Oh Geez

So clearly I have committment issues. To blogs that is. :P I apologize to anyone who seriously enjoys this blog. But I just haven't had the time. So for today, I'm not doing a specific artist. I guess we can call this my music rant. So here goes.

Music used to be wonderful. Real talent, real instruments, actual sounds. The oposite of autotune. But nowadays it's hard to tell the difference. Who's fake? Who can actually sing? Is that a real band in the background? Or is it a recording. This leads to problems, what if you really like what you hear on a CD and end up going to a concert, but they end up lypsinging? Or worse...singing but they suck ( cough cough BEP). Yup, we've all been there. And what about record labels getting so friggen desperate that they take money from spoiled little rich kids. Create a music video and song for them. And then ruin an entire day of the week for the rest of the population. That's right Ark Music Industry, I'm looking angrily at you and your stupid Rebecca Black. I mean hey, that girl can probably sing. But you just ruined her life by making her sing a non age appropriate song. SHE'S 13!. No 13 year old has friends who drive cars. Like can someone say bad role model? Jesus. But i suppose you reading this are probably getting somewhat bored. So i'll stop this rant at it's peak. Comment, tell me what annoys you about the industry. Tell me the worst thing to happen to music.

Stay Golden :]
